Mob

Garage Arts Project is hosting a Flash Mob at The North Texas Carnival of the Arts. All are welcome to join the fun!

On line tech rehearsal: Wednesday, Sept 25th at 8:00 PM on ZOOM for those who registered.

Arrive at noon and report Garage Arts Project Founder Renuka Rajagopalan who will be waiting for you behind the escalator in the Grand Court.

You'll perform at 12:20 p.m. Wear bright clothes and get ready to bring joy to the Carnival!

Stage Combat
Class

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Rover Dramawerks presents a Stage Combat Class with fight choreographer Michael McMillan.

Location: Impact Room at Shops at Willow Bend. Demo on main stage following.

Disney Dazzle
Sing-Along

1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m.

Children's Chorus Collin County presents Disney Dazzle Sing-Along. Sing along with the members of the Children's Chorus of Collin County and perform on stage at 1:55. Music provided.

Rehearse music with CCCC Founder and ED Janie Oliver in Impact Room at the Shops at Willow Bend beginning at 1:00 p.m.

You'll perform on stage at 1:55 p.m.

Plano Community Band

The Plano Community Band is a volunteer organization made up of approximately 70 musicians from all walks of life who share a passion for music.

The band performs two Spring concerts and a Fall concert each year at the beautiful Eisemann Center in Richardson, but is best known for its Summer concerts at Haggard Park, abutting old downtown Plano.

Plano International Festival and Plano African American Museum Heritage Fashion Show

It all began in the early 2000s when then Plano Mayor Pat Evans established the Multicultural Outreach Roundtable (MCOR) as an advisory board to the Plano city council. This outreach effort was designed to give the diverse residents of Plano a voice in city government.

The all-volunteer group proposed various ideas to enhance life for everyone in the community, including putting table tennis tables in Plano’s recreation centers, establishing an interfaith National Day of Prayer event, and establishing the Plano International Festival, among many others.
